When organizing those cables in the office, or even at home, would you use a zip tie, similar to those Handy 'plastic' handcuffs, or the twist tie? My husband uses both at home. The zip ties he uses on the semi permanent appliance like the TV and game console. For our laptop cables, the twist tie is perfect in keeping it in place since you can easily untwist it and use it again later.
