I am installing the Consumer Preview as we speak. I have heard that a lot of users are very happy with Windows 8. The only problem is how to start, because there is no start button.
Same problem here. It took me fifteen minutes looking for the start button before I found out, by accident, that I need to press the Windows key on my keyboard to get things done. Windows 8 is usable for me but then again I actually installed it just to see how the new interface works.
An update on my biggest problem: It turns out for my Risen 2 problem I was just told that my OS wasn't supported (when the game clearly worked before). That's less of Microsoft's part then it is the fault of Deep Silver's support.
I don't see the point of going for Windows 8 other than for Directx 11.1 which isn't even utilized properly yet. I'll stick to my DX 11 games, thanks.
