I have stopped watching TV more than three years ago. I simply got tired of the endless advertisements and repetitive programs. But even when I was still watching it, I never used to eat in front of it. I also never eat while I am working on the computer, or while I am reading. I like to either enjoy my food or what's on the screen, but not both at the same time.

I have found that popcorn is a treat that can get old and fast. I usually go through cravings. There are times when I want nothing to do with it, and other times where I will go to the shop late at night just so that I can snag a bag. I definitely need diversity where popcorn is concerned.

If I am going out to watch a movie at the cinema I refrain from purchasing the establishment's goodies, because they are always terribly overpriced and not worth the money for the small portions. I take in my own treats, which usually are not full meals. Just junk as in sweats and ice cream or other sugary forms of food.

Favorite snacks when watching a movie? I have so many snacks I like to eat while watching a movie. I like hotdogs, pop corn with extra butter, and then soda, and I also like to eat chips. Based on value, potato chips and Cheetos are the best ones. They are very salty, so I would also get gallons of water nearby to help me digest them. Based on taste, I don't have a favorite. I tried making them on my own to help save money, but they were different than the ones that we used to have. Pop corn could be easily cooked at home, potato chips take a couple of days to prepare, and when it all just does not work out we'd order pizza. The cheapest one, with no additional topping and we'd also have donuts. Saving money on movie treats is a challenging task.

I usually add butter and salt, but you can put whatever you want on it. There are lists of spices online that you can put on popcorn and you can even buy cheese powder in bulk.

These snacks or kinds of treats while watching movies make me fat. So as much as I could I avoid having one. Besides I when I relax, sit down and watch a movie, I just want to focus with what I am watching and immersed myself there. I find everything else as a distraction like snacking or talking to someone else like to my sister whoever I am watching with. But sometimes, I couldn't resist it and I would just give in to eating. It's Cheetos that I really can't resist, the spicy Cheetos, which I forgot how it is exactly called. And of course pop corn, any pop corn. These two are my favorite, that even when I go and head to watch a movie at a cinema, I still opt for them for my snack.
