When Is The Best Day To Book A Flight?

    I've often heard that Tuesdays are the best days to book a flight, but, in the advent of Travel sites like Travelocity, Orbitz, etc, is that still the case? And if I book a flight ON a Tuesday (ie I pay for it through a site on a Tuesday) do I possibly get a better price through the site than I would by paying for a Tuesday departing flight on a Monday?

    Supposedly the airlines adjust their seat availablity and prices in time to access at 12:01am Wednesday morning!

    But not sure if this holds ture for every carrier. I've sometmes gotten best prices on Friday night between 11pm-12M and also on Saturday morning.
