This article basically sums it up, and I have to admit, I was rather shocked when I saw the actual commercial. Log In I'm assuming some folks over at Apple thought they were hopping on some sort of hipster bandwagon by conjuring up the Pixies while fans are celebrating their 25 year anniversary. Perhaps they should have looked over the lyrics a bit though. It's rather awkward to see young kids singing and playing along to this song, lol.
