coconut oil is fantastic for your hair and it apparently makes your hair shiny, thicker and grow faster. I wonder if anyone has experienced a change as I would love to buy some but it is very expensive which makes me think that it works.

I use Rice bran oil for all cooking purposes. It's extremely balanced in all kinds of fats like saturated, poly and mono-unsaturated fats. It's very CHEAP too when compared to extra virgin olive oil. Olive oil loses some of its antioxidants when deep fried. However, olive oil when used in lightly fried foods is most healthy.

I try to use olive oil when I cook but really love it in salads and I have not tried the rice oil you mention which I might have a look for the next time I go shopping.

Extra virgin olive oil is pretty much the only oil I buy of use. I love the taste and know it's one of the healthier choices so I don't mind spending the extra money!

I mainly use canola oil because I don't want my French fries to taste like olive oil. I use olive oil for salads.
