I've been having problems with my Tablet with Kindle. Or the other way round. But I'm looking into reviews about the latest Kindle. I've saved enough for that price. But I need confirmation about what is the latest Kindle Reader? The price is reasonable compared to what if I bought a new and latest Galaxy Tablet.

Or save up more for a new Tablet? Hmmm...

Is it the Kindle White Paper you're looking at buying? I've heard nothing but good things about it, but I've have never had first hand experience with it. I have had a Kindle Fire HD for about 2 years now and I absolutely love it. It does everything it says on the tin and I think I will be getting another one whenever my current one packs up (touch wood it won't be for a while!) By then Amazon will have developed an even better model, I'm sure :)

It's Kindle Paperwhite, and it's an incredible eReader by all accounts from what I've heard. You lose out on some functionality that you would get with any tablet, but it depends on what you plan on doing with the unit. If you want an eReader only, then it truly is the perfect eReader, and it'll last forever on a single charge while holding countless books.

This is the reason I wanted the OP to make that distinction, troutski. I too believe it makes for the perfect eReader. I doubt it would be a fantastic tablet, though because it's largely designed to be an eReader and not the other way around.

I have a Kindle Paper White and the thing is wonderful for reading books. The screen resolution is crystal clear like you had a real book in your hand. While it is good for reading and downloading books, it is not very good for doing things like internet searches because there is no real keyboard on it. You have to go to the keyboard screen and then use the curser to select the letters you wish to type. It is good for reading books, but if you are looking for something that will allow you to play around on the internet and do gaming, you are better off getting a Kindle Fire.
