    I have heard that nearly all of the names of persons in this world have meaning to them. I mean the first name and not family name.

    My name is "GAURAV" and it means honour and respect and i am very proud of my name.

    I am not sure what my name means but it would be very interesting to know. So when I find that out I will let you know. I feel it means love because I love everyone and I am a nice friendly person that like to have fun laughing and joking. A real lover of soul music and love to dance.

    My real name is Tammy. It's Hebrew for palm tree. It's also Aramaic for twin. I'm neither Hebrew or Aramaic. ;)

    My real name is Alexis and it came from a greek word Alexius and it means "defender of mankind" :D I'm a guy by the way and I know that my name is more commonly used by females. :D

    From the Hebrew name לֵאָה (Le'ah) which was probably derived from the Hebrew word לְאָה (le'ah) meaning "weary". Alternatively it might derive from a Chaldean name meaning "mistress" or "ruler" in Akkadian. In the Old Testament, Leah is the first wife of Jacob and the mother of seven of his children. Although this name was used by Jews in the Middle Ages, it was not typical as an English Christian name until after the Protestant Reformation, being common among the Puritans.

    Mine means "The twin" which is pretty fitting as many people mistake me and my older brother for twins.

    I'm afraid my name doesn't mean anything. It has ancient Roman lineage but I couldn't find anything relevant beside that it's a female version of the male name. It's sad because most ancient Roman names actually had a meaning :(

    I googled what my names mean and it has an uncanny relation to my personality and physical appearance. What a coincidence. I wonder if our parent's subconsciously decide a name that will fit with the traits of their baby.

    My name is Hillary but i never thought to look up the meaning of it. But i will now i always knew our names had meaning i have looked up my mothers and sisters names but never seem to get the meaning of my name forgot about my self haha. My mother's name means gift from god and i thought it was perfect because to me my mother truly is a gift for god. So i am going to go look my name up right now.
