A weird food combination that my father always served us as a refreshment after playing, when I was still a kid was this drink that consisted of coconut meat and water, orange soda, and some cut-up small pieces of plain flavored biscuits. It is an unusual combination but somehow it tasted really good and my siblings and I have learned to love it. It is very refreshing and delicious, especially when cooled and have some ice cubes placed in it.
Adding a little dab of mustard to miso soup elevates its flavor to a whole new level. It imparts a level of earthiness and heat that goes well with the saltiness of the miso soup.
I can't remember when it started but whenever I eat spaghetti I have to add Cheetos Crunchy Flamin Hot chips and parmesan cheese with a slice of garlic bread on the side. If anything is missing, I simply can't eat it. And I love how the hot chips turn the spaghetti this beautiful flaming hot red and orange color. It's the best. Some people will look with disgust on their faces but I don't care because I have to enjoy what I'm eating. If I know ahead of time that I'm going out to an Italian restaurant I will buy the Cheetos and bring them with me. It's so good.
I have the most weirdest food combinations are you everything with ketchup. Although it doesn't taste that good to others i totally love it. i usually eat south indian food with ketchup which does not make any sense, but for me if i ketchup is there it is a more than enough for any dish.
