I'd rather get a fully functional tablet rather than a cheap eBook reader. Tablets have more use and can do more things than an eReader. I don't agree with the DVD movies being included in the list. Videogames maybe. But that's just my opinion.
My mother is the picky one in our family. My siblings and I have finally decided on what we will be getting her. Our basket of goodies will include a dvd, gift card, and several other knick knacks for her home that she has been (very subtly) hinting at. Good luck!
I am surprised that the iPad and other tablets are not on the list. That is the gift that is number one on my list.
For me it is Cash, One of the New Gen Systems such as Xbox One, New Jordan Gamma Blue 11s, Jordan Taxi 12s and Clothing brands.
I really do not feel like DVDs are something that people really give anymore. I may even venture to suggest you stop buying those as a gift. I am not a fan of receiving one for Christmas or any holiday. I feel like they take up far too much space and are on their way out in the door much like VHS tapes. There are so many other ways of enjoying movies that take up zero space and a DVD really has none of the nostalgic appeal that a book may in comparison to an eBook.
