I've been looking for a way to keep records of my business transactions that will also help with my taxes. Quicken Premier seems to be the most logical choice since I already use TurboTax. Some reviews I read recommend cloud-based programs but I'm kind of paranoid about that route. What do you use and how much did it cost?
I have some basics on accounting coming from my college curriculum including this as necessary in any career of choice, not because it was related to administration or accounting by itself. However, and besides to having a cousin who is an accountant, I have managed my small business bookkeeping with the aid of software expressly for this, none of those you mention as I prefer to make use of freeware programs, but whatever is your choice, software really helps with this. Getting some knowledge or professional advice is a plus, and you may use it too if you have a chance.
