If you have ever been to the drive thru at Starbucks, you probably know that sometimes the person ahead of you will pay for your drinks. I had this happen yesterday, and the person behind me had like a $20 order and I could not do the same because I only had a little money on me. Has this ever happened to you? I felt guilty that I could not do the same for someone else, but did not have a choice.
What you could do is pay the best you can. Even a 5 dollar discount on a 20 dollar order is pretty darn good. You don't have to pay for everything especially if your order is a lot less than the person in back of you. You can even pay for 1, 2 maybe 3 dollars if you can't afford more and if the person in the back doesn't appreciate that then maybe he didn't deserve anything anyway so don't feel bad. What's the point of having your items paid for if you have to pay more for someone else? Kind of pointless.
