Most of the schools where I live do a regular collection of used clothes. We bag up all the old shoes and clothes that our children have grown out of, take them down to the school and someone will collect them and take them to children less fortunate. Do you donate to the schools in your area?
I wish but there are no such programs here that do that. I think it doesn't happen since most people prefer to sell their old items with the bad economy we are all going through. It is getting so tought that robberies are being heard of almost everyday now. I have a lot to give but if I take them somewhere where they will supposedly give them out I'm afraid they will just resell them instead I opt to give them to friends and their families in need.
