I never buy potatoes or olive oil all year long because I bring those from my in-laws. I could bring wine as well, but I don't because I don't drink it lol. I am lucky because I just help to take the potatoes of the earth and to collect the olives, no more work than that.

How many of you produces it's own food?

My old folks grow potatoes, corn and all kinds of fruit. So just like you I help with the planting and harvesting and I'm all set for the winter :D But we're lucky, most of the people I know were born and raised in the city and have to pay for the stuff that I get for free. When I move out of my flat and buy a house I want it to have a nice garden where I can grow food by myself. I started to like farming and when you look in the wallet you realize just how cost efficient it is!

I most certainly grow my own food (well, what I can). I eat a high vegetable diet, so it's important for me to know where my food is coming from. I grow tomatoes, herbs, peppers and cucumbers. I am space limited right now, but when I have a bit more land, I will grow more.

Yes, I know what you mean, I'm from the city, just my wife is from the country this is like a perk lol. But once I tried that olive oil to be honest the one sold in the supermarkets that like water with grease, it can't be compared, it's way better. I wish they have fruits as well, they only have oranges and tangerines, better than nothing though.

Really neat that in a limited space you manage to grow so many things khillis!
