My grandma loves to stop somewhere and eat at a restaurant.
However, if I travel alone or with my kids somewhere I always bring something to eat and drink with u, such as water, sandwiches, cookies and some bananas.

Whenever we travel, we take a cooler with us so we can bring food. You never know what you're gonna get at a roadside restaurant so it's best to be safe than sorry. Usually we just bring snacks like granola bars, yogurt, water, chips, etc. We have stopped at roadside restaurants before and in most places the food has been bad which is why we hesitate to stop at unknown places. Since we've traveled a lot throughout the years, my father has actually befriended the owners of two roadside restaurants and we try to stop to eat there instead of at some random place.
