If you have nail polish lying around (and let's face it, most of us don't use the entire bottle or try a color never to use it again, so we tend to have some lying around) there are other things you can do with it. Nail polish makes great craft paint, for jewelry and many other projects. It can also be used as touch up paint for a number of things. I used pink nail polish once to paint in white flowers on a ceramic picture frame I wanted to give as a gift (I tested it out the back first where it wouldn't show, to make sure it wouldn't damage the finish).
