I always do my grocery shopping online and I also buy frozen chicken breasts, it's much cheaper and I like to stock up. I try to buy most of my veg frozen too where I can, other than potatoes and salad items. I have never had any problems with the items I have had delivered, occasionally if the store is out of a certain product I will recieve a substitution but usually that just means I get a more expensive product for the lower price.

Online grocery shopping is great! I can buy things on offer in bulk and save so much. I also don't have to spend time travelling to the store, and walking round the store, and queuing and all that boring stuff. Online shopping is great as long as you have storage space for buying in bulk. I can imagine if I had a smaller freezer it might be a bit of a pain trying to keep things for long periods of time, though.

    These are my thoughts exactly.
We have a number of great locally-owned supermarkets and shops near me so I actually enjoy walking8 to them and picking out what I want. I can ensure I see my foods condition and I can find some extra deals and network with people in my area.

The websites I used to use when I lived in California by myself and didn't own a car were Walmart grocery and Safeway, and I do recommend both for online grocery. They are both outstanding in their service. Walmart has way better variety and prices, but Safeway is a better supermarket overall.

I have a lot of friends who like to order their groceries online.
I have never done it before but if it would be cheaper than going to the groceries I might consider it.
However, I prefer to get my groceries right after I paid. When ordering it might take at least a day to wait for them....

I have tried buying grocieries online from Walmart.com. They have great prices. Beware though some of the items don't ship well. Like boxed or bagged items. Cereals, crackers, chips. They may arrive crushed!

I personally haven't tried purchasing groceries online not that i don't trust the online process but i love going to the store myself and grocery shop. It's sort of therapeutic to me.

I believe there may be some people in my country who do their grocery shopping online, but I don't know if it has caught on in a big way yet over here. If it would be cheaper to buy the groceries online, well it is definitely a good idea, although at the end of it there is still a delivery charge. When the groceries are delivered I guess there would have to be a lot of checking to see if everything you ordered was delivered, in the right amounts, the right brand, etc. But this sort of thing is a saving all around since one would not have to drive to the store, thus saving on gas. It is a time saver too since other household tasks can get done while waiting for the groceries to be delivered.

I once used the Wal-Mart.com option when I was really short on time. We had a doctor's appointment that ran over and I had to get groceries before we picked up some relatives for the airport. While I was waiting for my significant other to come out of the doctor's exam room, I shopped online and was able to pick the groceries up on the way home from the airport. It was really convenient. I was a little nervous about it and called the Wal-Mart to make sure the order was ready, but really there were no problems whatsoever.
