A recent news report stated old tires are very dangerous to the safe operation of your vehicle. There maybe plenty of tread on the tire but the age of the tire could cause it to explode cause the driver to lose control of the vehicle resulting in injury or death. This brings to question for those that purchase used tires is it still safe, how do you know how old that tire is that you are purchasing? How old are your tires?
This is interesting. I always go to a certain shop in town that has good used tires at a discount price. I've never had any trouble at all from their tires, and I've been going there for years. Now I'm a little paranoid about used tires. I think I'll do some research on this. Thanks for posting.
