Traditionally a night cap is an alcoholic beverage drank before bed, but I'm not an alcohol drinker. I drink water or water with lemon pretty much all day; but at night I have this little ritual of drinking a small glass of either cranapple or Apple juice diluted with a little water before bed. I don't have to drink it, but it's something I really miss if I don't. I just look so forward to it. Is there a favored something you drink before bed?
I try not to drink before I sleep, since it would be more likely to make me get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. I do keep a water bottle at my bedside in case I do get thirsty at night though.
I really don't drink much before I go to bed for obvious reasons. If I have to get up in the middle of the night, I never get back to sleep. I have always had either a glass of water or a bottled water on my nightstand just in case but up until now I have never felt the need to drink any in the night.
