Due to the high cost of veterinary medicines in our area, we tried using natural and organic products on our pet's skin ailment, particularly mange. We have found that virgin coconut oil can fight against mange especially during the early stages. A few drops of VCO on the affected part practically heals it the next day. On more advanced stages of mange, VCO also works but the treatment has to be preceded with a live yogurt treatment an hour before a bath with lukewarm water. VCO is then applied to the affected parts and it should stay there until the next treatment session the following day. What other natural treatment for mange have worked on your pet?
