I went to Marshalls this weekend because I am running out of maternity clothes and honestly paying $40 for a pair of jeans Im going to wear for a month and then bust out of due to the growth of my belly is not what I had in mind. I decided to look for dresses, skirt and flowy tops to make it through the rest of my 2 months. I walked in with a mind set to purchase 3 outfits and spend no more than $100. At first I struggled to find clothes because they don't necesarily have a mternity section but I decided to take my time and really look through all the clearance racks. I walked out with 2 dresses, a skirt, 6 tops, a bra and two 20oz mugs (wanted to surprise the hubby) all for $127!!! Yes a little over the budget but for those $27 extra dollars I got 3 more outfits than I had planned and even got home with a little gift for my husband!!!! Do you guys like Marshalls?

They just opened a Marshalls near me! I will have to look here because I have never been in the store before because it was just opened! That sounds like you got some great deals on clothing! Was it name brand clothes?

Marshall's can be great for clothes and the pricing of the clothes. However, they are typically horrible if you like order and cleanliness. I would suggest that if you decide on Marshall's being your new go to spot, for you to find out when they deliver the new clothes and stock them. Get there early for both the order and the savings or you'll miss out on both.

The Marshall's in my area is clean and organized. I really think it depends on the area and the people that run the store. Marshall's does have great deals on clothes and purses. I would rate them a step above Ross Dress for Less.

I think with Marshall's you really have to dig for bargains like you did. I find the Marshall's I go to, unorganized and not very clean. It has been a while since I shopped their but I may try it again after seeing the deals you got.

Marshall's has great deals and sometimes you can find what your looking for if your lucky. There are brand name clothing if you look closely and again lucky. Clothing is relatively cheaper there, but I always end up paying for more than what I need. Marshalls drives you to buy more because you think it's cheap!

Sounds like you have managed to hit the jackpot in deals! I know the Marshalls close to me is always advertising, but I have never went into it before.

What I purchased was not but they do have brand name clothes and shoes like Steve Madden, Calvin Klein, NY&CO, Jessica Simpson, DKNY etc

Luckily the Marshalls I shop at is very organized - its an older generation that works there so they take pride in keeping the store looking nice for the customers.

It's not that the staff doesn't want to take pride in the stores, they do, it's just that because of the sales on so many brand name items, on average, you have to get there after they've just straightened the store up because people will hide clothes in the wrong sections to work as a hold or people just go through like a madman trying to find what they need.

It's a push and pull for a worker that is trying to keep it straight throughout the day with consumers that are doing everything they can to find a bargain.

I love to go to Marshalls. They have a bunch of clothes and toys for a lot less than retail! I really save a lot of money going there, and I do suggest other people to visit as well! My only complaint is that my local Marshalls is very messy – the toys are opened, they're scattered on the floor, everything. If they were to clean up a little more neatly, I would almost say it was a perfect store!
