So, in light of LimeCrime being hacked, BuzzFeed released an "article" calledLog InLog In. Which is a list full of other brands who also carry unusual lip colors, and that are all at least some what cheaper then LimeCrime. NYX's "Wicked" and "Macaroon" lipstick series were on the list. Showing that NYX carries several colors identical to the colors LimeCrime carries, and for a fraction of the cost. One tube of NYX lipstick is roughly 6 dollars, where one tube of LimeCrime's (same size and everthing) is roughly 21 dollars. Yikes. ColorPop Cosmetics was also on the list, and a single tube of theirs is only 5 dollars! Here is a side by side comparison of the ColorPop color versus the LimeCrime color. Identical. Wow, those photos are great! The colors really are identical! It just goes to show that the expensive brands are not always the best! It wouldn't surprise me if it was exactly the same lipstick - just packaged as two different brands!
