I agree, somethings are better printed and in your hand. I've been in a shopping spree, yesterday I bought a cake and a coffee and the day before I bought two tubes of Wilson US Open tennis balls, my favorites.
Believe it or not, I have no idea! I can't even remember the last time I went shopping for something that wasn't food or otherwise essential. Probably the last thing I bought for myself was nothing big, just a bottle of wine. I haven't even done that for a few months.
I have not been shopping for myself in a few months. The other day I decided to get myself a bottle of wine just for me. I have no intention of sharing with anyone. I just want to have it handy so that when I want to have a glass of wine I can.
My last physical purchase was clothing and jewelry, which I mentioned in another thread. My wardrobe was in need of some basic pieces, plus I’m in the process of slowly replacing things I left elsewhere and can’t get back. The last treat I gave myself, though, was a lunch and dessert at a great little restaurant I discovered earlier this year. I was hoping to try out their durian ice cream, but they didn’t have any that day. Sad times! The tapioca was lovely, though, and I never have it at home so that was pretty noteworthy for me.
The last thing that I bought for myself were 2 smartphones, but come to think of it, I always treat myself anyway, and I always buy what I want the moment that I see it and I can afford it.
I bought an IPod Touch (6th generation of course) very recent and bought a case and screen protector to go along with it on amazon. I've very excited for it because Apples brought a lot of new updates on it so it should be a big upgrade from my 4th generation... Got 128GB. It will be my portable USB Media player haha.
Yesterday I bought a Nikon camera. It is a bridge meaning it has some features of a point & shoot, along with manual tools like the pros use. It was marked down $150 at Target and I almost didn't get it because the idiot clerk was too lazy to see if there were any more in storage.
The last thing that I bought for myself was a handbag, that I purchase on our family vacation to Florida. I love my handbag. I'm so use to buying stuff for my daughter and husband, that it felt good to be able to treat myself. I think everyone should treat themselves every once in awhile.
I honestly can't remember, ha! Ever since my son was born everything I buy has been for him, whether it's a toy or a necessity like diapers. Lately, I've been buying art supplies for him. He's really into painting right now. When it comes to buying things for myself it's usually something I need. However, I have been debating whether or not to get a massage. Maybe I should seriously look into that.
The last things I bought for myself were preowned clothes. I also bought for my mom and sister. My friends held a garage sale last weekend and I purposely went near closing time so that I can haggle more with the prices. I love the clothes that I got. It was a lot of work going through them but I really got good deals for them.
It's been awhile since I brought myself something anything. I think it was a book about the 3 girls who were kidnap and held captive for some many years. Unless chocolate counts than I brought it yesterday. Lol
I just bought a super cheapo necklace. The charm on it reminds me of a joke between my husband and I, but it's super cute
Last month I had bought a purse from Mizzue. I guess I had posted this in other threads. I found it on an online shop and since I liked it so I purchased it using my credit card. It had a problem because I was being charged by the courier company of 1,200 pesos in customs tax. But anyway, that issue was already resolved and I was refunded of that extra cost.
The last thing I bought for myself was food. Most of my expenses end up coming from buying food because of how much I commute back and forth. Sometimes, I don't even have time to pack a lunch! When it comes to other things, I think the last thing I bought as a luxury was probably some used video games at a retro dealer. Those throwback gaming stores are a treat, especially if you have an old game system that still works in mint condition.
Well I normally spend the money I earn on my family. BUT this time around I bought something for myself with the money I earned. It felt really great to buy something for myself with what I earned. I might have done that before but I cannot remember. Well anyways though I bought glowing nail polish. Oh YES I did, I totally did. I wanted to try it out to see if it worked or not. I really hope it works; it is a pretty pink color. I have been looking for cool stuff to buy. I thought glowing stuff would be cool, so yeah it is supposed to come so I am excited!
I bought myself some new shoes last time I shipped. Along with it I also got a lot of other goodies like sleepwear and robes. I love these because i like how comfortable they make me feel while I'm at home. In a way, wearing nice things at home makes me feel like I'm at a hotel sometimes. I'm planning on buying some new shoes and home clothes again very soon and I'm preparing myself and my funds to buy lots again.
I bought myself sugar free loaf cake for my birthday! I added ice cream that's no sugar added. Enjoying both this week! I wanted to get something special this year for I made 61!
I just bought myself some printer ink, but that doesn't count, since I use it to print shipping labels, and it's not a luxury. I splurged recently on some socks and night time face cream, yay. Both were really great deals, on eBay and Tanga. Oh, and I actually bought myself 2 new bottles of Wet n Wild nail polish, but at $.97 apiece, that's not much of a splurge. BTW, happy birthday @Krissttina Isobe!
