I won't lie I've noticed KFC isn't the cleanest feeling fast food restaurant out there! I don't really know why but compared to McDonalds and others the staff always seem pretty laid back and don't really bother all that much. Saying that I'm a sucker for KFC and it is my favourite fast food place, it's just too good and I kind of expect it to be dirty I mean it's fast food it's not good for you anyways. McDonalds always seems really nice and clean and tidy where I live, I'm always impressed with how clean and shiny the restaurants look.
I rarely if ever go to KFC. Don't get me wrong I'll go there once in a blue moonbut its definitely not a spot I frequent a lot. If I want chicken I usually go to Chick Fil A and Bojangles. To me, they are just of higher quality and taste.
What a shame!!! Thankfully where I live KFC is actually really clean and I have never had a problem with any of their chains. I have been put off by a restsurant being dirty before, but not a chain like this. Maybe you could try another KFC and it won't be like that. I would also contact their national customer service and let them know about the conditions at this restaurant .
It's kind of sad how crappy KFC has gotten over the years, because I remember when I was younger in the early 80's, the ones in our neighborhood at least, were actually very clean and the food came out great. Their menu was much simpler, just basic stuff like coleslaw, biscuits, mashed potatoes and gravy for sides, and of course the fried chicken itself. It didn't taste as heavily processed as it does these days either - and most times we ordered you could tell it just came out of the fryer. Now their menu looks like a stoner came up with it, and their food tastes horribly processed.
I haven't been into a KFC for a couple of years now. I probably would if there was one near me but it's just not something in my vicinity. I don't mind the place but at the end of the day it still is fast food. I would still always go for a KFC over McDonalds any day of the week. I haven't been into a McDonalds for probably 15 years now. I just don't like the idea of the place.
Nope, never had an actual issue with KFC nor other fast food chains, other than some places of their restaurants where they could probably care more about the hygiene, but I don't serve the meal there, so it doesn't truly bother me. The taste of chicken is indisputably-good.
The KFC closest to me is a counter-only store, with no seating. This, to me, makes it appear cleaner than anywhere that has a dining area. Diners are filthy creatures and leave their children's food spills everywhere and I always feel slightly grubby having to walk past them. So KFC over Maccy D's for me, every time.
Yes and it was KFC, I had only ever been into clean ones before I went into one that was filthy, one of the customers complained and the staff were so rude! I will also not go into Tesco any more since I experienced homophobia from one of their staff members and they refused to do anything about it.
We don't have a Tesco around here. Based on what you said, I wish there was one here so I could make it clear I won't go in there. Seriously. The KFC franchise needs to realize one bad store will ruin it for all of them. I never go there to eat, regardless of where I am. If you try to complain to corporate, they tell you there's nothing they can do because its a franchise. It's no way to stay in business, franchise or not.
Luckily for me, the Kentucky Fried Chicken that is within my town is actually a really nice establishment. The floors are clean, the employees are friendly, it does not look like a disgusting dump and the food is excellent. However, I have been to a few that have been similar to what you are talking about. The only difference is that the food is always good whenever I eat KFC. Do not get me started on McDonald's. Half of the people at the one in my hometown are complete and utter imbeciles who act like they have never seen a customer walk into their store before. They get the orders wrong constantly, they are rude, the food is awful and overall the experience is just one that you would not want to wish on any of your loved ones or family.
The quality of a fast food chain store varies a lot. I have been to some that had young and immature employees and full of dirty furniture. Others had nice people and a clean, shiny building. It really depends on the location and owner of the store though.
The one place inhave never been disappointed, regardless of the town, is Wendy's. I know some of the food sits there all day, waiting to be sold. The baked potatoes and Chilli, namely. But you can't taste the difference, and its never made me sick. Those are the two things I look for in a good fast food restuarant, lol. I'm not picky. The only complaint i have with them is I miss their old fries. Screw ketchup. I just dipped them right into the frosty. It was perfection!
