I always had a small interest in treasure hunting and finding spare change, so I was just curious to know if anyone here things if a metal detector is worth investing money in? Obviously, I won't be finding buried treasure but will be able to hopefully find some change here and there.
How much does it cost? Since this is a personal choice, I think it is worth investing depending on what you will use it for. The most important part is that you are interested in it. So you better get one and experience using it. It will help you get the spare change
The cost of it ranges from $200 to $3000. I would most likely try to find some spare change here and there and maybe something valuable if I am lucky. Though it all really depends on the area I choose to use it at and the type of luck I am able to get. Luck and the right place play a key role.
