I own an iPhone 5. Periodically, a message displays telling me that I need to back up my phone. In that moment, I realize how much 'stuff' specifically apps I have on my phone. A dollar or two can add up in the long run. Losing them would hurt my pocket book. So, how often do you back up your apps?
I don't. I don't use that many and if anything happened to my phone that meant I had to reinstall them then I would know EXACTLY which ones I had before.
I have a setting on my android phone that automatically saves apps on the external memory card. Should there be a need to reinstall, which only happens when I change phones, I just get the apps from the back up files on the external memory. For other important data, the phone automatically backs up notes, calendars, photos, etc. by thru auto sync when I turn on the wifi. Normally, I don't do regular back ups.
