The only place I have seen glass bottles is in a pub! I agree that a glass bottle would be my preference, but I like to drink from a can too! not a big fan of bottles, I find it goes flat quickly, but a can seems to stop that happening.

I like to drink my pop from a cup but if that's not an option than I rather drink from a can. I find pop in a glass bottles goes flat so fast! I never understood why but it goes flat a lot faster than it would in a can. The only thing I don't like about drinking from a can is that the pop always seems to have a little bit of a foamy texture when I drink it rather than in a cup.

Little versions of convenience stores here from where I live still sell sodas in glass bottles. The big convenience stores and the groceries sell soda in glass bottles, plastic bottles, and cans. I prefer mine in a plastic bottle or glass bottle, and with straw because it is hygienic. I don't know about those news or rumors about rats infesting warehouses, wherein, should you buy a can of soda, you have to wash the top really well. Whether the rumors are true or not, I still wash the top of can sodas before opening them. But that is just too... annoying. I prefer bottles any day.

I really don't mind whether my soda is served in a styrofoam cup or in a glass as. They taste all the same for me.

I don’t really drink sodas anymore but I used to prefer cans. I’ve seen certain brands in glass bottles and I find it delightfully retro, but I’ve never actually drank one myself.

That said, my favorite way to drink soda was always in a float, served in a tall glass. When I was growing up, there was nothing like a root beer float on a hot day.

Well I buy the large bottles because they are cheap but I end up drinking straight from the bottle. That is true for bottled water and juice as well, though. Sometimes, it is not convenient to carry them around but I still prefer bottle because cans cannot be closed after you opened it so I try to buy bottles.

I love them out of glass bottles. But I usually drink them out of the can. I hate straws too for anything because I fear more backwash. But the can is good because they're a good convenient size.

I'm not all that fussed to be honest. For all my drinks, I don't mind whether they're straight out of a can, in a bottle or a glass. But since I live in an extremely hot country, I've taken to adding a huge amount of ice to my drinks. So I usually have my drink in a glass so I can cram as many ice cubes as I can into the glass :)

We are soda drinkers in the house and we always have cases of soda in our stock room. Mine is Mountain Dew while my husband prefers Coke. And we don't drink in any other container but the can. As my husband said, Coke in can is different than Coke in bottles especially the big bottle where the taste is not that strong. What's best in soda in can is that it doesn't need ice for the cold can is enough for an ice cold drink.
