Does anyone have any recommendations for hotels in Iceland? I'm looking for something in the Reykjavik area, although anywhere within a reasonable travel distance would be fine. I find Iceland unusual in having both a lack of budget hotels, and the price of hotels just generally being much more expensive. Even low-mid range hotels seem to be £70-£90 per night, which is unheard of for a budget hotel in most of the UK.

BB 44 guest house is the cheapest one in iceland which i know. the cost of one night stay is $ 70, and if you want to stay at Reykjavik area then there is a hotle known as Reykjavik hostel village where per night cost is $77.
