If you haven't been on a cruise or you want to do it again, probably the best days are still here to be enjoyed because the bad advertising of both Costa Concordia and Carnival Triumph disasters have made the prices come down, but I would not be surprised that they would come back up soon.

You probably don't want to go on a cruise. Have you read the cruise reports that surface last year? So many people got sick and were even close to dying due to the lack of hygienic conditions on the cruise; and when there's an outbreak on a boat alone at sea, there's no where for you to run so everyone on the boat ends up getting sick. I wouldn't ride cruises if I were you unless they were like for 1 or 2 nights.

Come on, I don't believe that there's not hygiene on a cruise that costs hundreds of dollars, the cruise industry might be bad, but not so bad!! I haven't heard of cases of people about to die due to hygiene, when did that happen?

I worked on a cruise ship four or so years back so I'd say unless it's an airborne disease, there's absolutely no way, a disease could spread to everyone on board. In any case, they stop at ports frequently so in case there's an outbreak of some sort, it can be sorted out before the ship leaves that port.

I don't suppose I'd want to go on a cruise again though. You can have enough of the sea.

LOL, being four years on a cruise I can totally understand that! My wife was always wanting to go on a cruise, but once we took a small boat trip and she was seasick, so now she lost her desire. I still think it's a good opportunity to take, I'd like to go on a cruise someday.

I have been on the Carnival Conquest, and it was a blast. You meet great people, and the food was awesome. I even won some money on the slots!!! I got the best tan I have ever had in my life. It was a 7 day cruise, and I wish it would have been longer. I was pampered so much! I had a morning at the salon, got a massage, and a new haircut! I am going on another one this spring! I am pregnant, but it will still be a blast!!! I can't wait!!! Everyone should go at least once!!! It is well worth it!!!

I LOVE going on cruises. I have gone on three in my lifetime and they are seriously so much fun. If you guys haven't gone on one then I highly recommend you go on one asap. We went on a cruise from California to Jamaica, that was an experience!

I have never been on a cruise and will never go on one. I have a fear of being way out in the water and the boat sinking. I may know how to swim but still, its not enough to make me want to go on one. I also would never sleep on the boat because hearing water splash would scare my fears even more. Cruises aren't really all that safe just like driving and flying aren't.

I'm a paranoid person so I don't do any of the "fun" stuff such as going on cruises or flying. I will drive anywhere though! I feel I have more control if I'm driving.

I am yet to go on one but am hoping for it to be soon. I have always seen how people enjoy themselves on the cruises and would definitely want some of that action once in a while.

Don't you get seasick on the cruise eagle?

I am not really a boat person, I prefer to be on the beach for example, but at the same time the stops in the different countries or places seem engaging to me. I just don't know if I would be looking forward to the stops or if I could enjoy the cruise by itself.

I don't think a cruise would be my ideal holiday, but if I won one or someone invited me to one, I would definitely not decline the offer. :)
Somehow it doesn't really appeal to me to be stuck on a big ocean liner with hundreds or even thousands (?) of others, dependent on the food and accommodation on board. I have heard of many outbreaks of food poisoning, which puts me off the whole idea. Also it's not my style to spend all day just laying around a pool or spending my time in the gym, shops, casino and whatever else they have on these big ships.

I've never heard about food poisoning in cruises, that would make me forget about the idea. Sure, it's not something I'd love to do every year, but at least once I want to try it, it's a good life experience and unless I've tried it I will never know how it is.

It is not true. It was just a rumors about hygienic conditions on the cruise. So if you are planning to go, just go.

I love cruising and I think it is how you get your best bang for your travel buck, too. Your entertainment and meals are all included. I cringe when I pay for a hotel on land and don't even get food and entertainment with it. I have only gotten to go on 3 but hope to go on #4 with my best friend soon. And no I don't get seasick, but if you do your doctor can give you a patch that goes behind your ear to keep you from getting seasick.

We have been on a variety of cruises over the years and we really love all they have to offer. Everything on one ship! No planning... decision making, just relaxing and having fun! Love that. We have been on many carnival cruises, the Disney cruise and will be going on Royal Caribbean next year.

We have a large family so this is really the best way to travel. It has something for everyone. We can all stay together or do things that we like alone. The choice is yours. :)
Looking forward to cruising soon !!!

We love going on cruises and honestly have never had any issues like the ones we have seen recently in the news. Cruises just work for our family. We have 4 kids that range in age from 8 to 19 so we need a lot of different activities to keep everyone happy and busy! I also like the fact that food is endless. :) That's a great thing especially since we love to eat but we all have different tastes in food. Cruises are a complete package... once your on the ship you really don't have to plan anything after that. Just relax and enjoy!!

    Danyel :)

I've never been on a cruise...I don't know, certain things about it really appeal to me and certain things are a bit less appealing. I mean, there are always an awful lot of horror stories. But then again I'm sure a lot of people have perfectly lovely experiences, and it does seem like a fun way to travel.

I like being on land, so I will never go on a cruise most likely unless I have a really good opportunity. The wife also lost it's appeal, so for me the cruise it's just a big hotel that moves in the water, not really very captivating.
