Are you one to do a few 'big' shops a month (getting a wide variety and large amount of groceries), or do you tend to do more frequent trips getting a few items each time?

I use to do alot of trips to the store but my brother brought something to my attention he told me that every time that I go to the store Im paying taxes every single time. So I started shopping for the entire month saving without paying taxes. I never really looked at it that way . But those taxes add up.

I go to the grocery store once a month. I buy everything i need at once so i do not have to keep going back everyday.

There are six of us at my house so every shop is generally a big one. I shop on a weekly basis, either at Aldi or Tesco online. The latter I get delivered. I go to local shops on an almost daily basis to stock up on essentials like milk and bread.

I shop about once a month because I have limited transportation options. So I try to just get the bulk of what I need in one go. And then occasionally I'll get fresh produce or bread throughout the month to make sure I'm still getting fresh food more frequently when possible.

    Oh, oh!!

And I found a picture of what it looked like when I would go shopping when there were 6 of us in the house that I was shopping for:

You can't really tell, but the whole table behind it is full of groceries, too.

In my household of 4 people, grocery shopping is done once to twice a month, depending on how fast products in the house are finishing and particularly the more important ones like juice, milk, tea, coffee, frozen goods and cupboard goods. We try to get everything we need in at least one of those shopping trips.

I never do a big shopping trip as I like everything to be as fresh as possible. I buy grains, oils and other basic ingredients once a week. Basically I always like to have food in my kitchen but never too much as I tend to spend a lot of time away from home, and I often eat out or at friends' places.

Since I live quite near to a grocery stores, I usually do my shopping once a week on the weekend. This is when I get all of my daily needs sorted out. I try to ensure that I always have enough groceries in my fridge to last me for the entire week. I have been doing this for a few years and I rarely runs out of any groceries because I always replenish them weekly.

I do one big grocery trip a month and then go back to buy milk, bread, and produce when they run out. I like to get the month's shopping over with in one trip because I hate standing in long lines or opening my cupboard and not having all the items I need to make dinner.
