Hello! So I've been seeing ads in many places about Goji Berry pills to help with weight loss. I never really trust pills for that, but I read they also give you energy, more disposition and make your metabolism faster. As I've been looking for something to give me more energy, I was wondering if anyone ever tried Goji Berries! Let me know if you did (or know someone who has)!
Like Acai berries, Goji berries have a lot of claims and hype but little evidence. Eating the fruit is healthy and it contains many vitamins and minerals as well as other compounds that may have benefits to health. Translating from a fruit to a pill, however, doesn't guarantee the same benefits. These berries are popping up in pill form as well as in many foods on the supermarket shelf. My feeling on this is that they are just a fad. If you can find the raw berries, I am sure they are good for you but by the time they have been turned into pills or other foods, I doubt they have the same benefits.
