Slugs can be a pain if your growing produce, getting rid of them is not that hard and if you go into your local Diy store you will find many solutions on the shelf but the easiest way to get rid of slugs is by using salt. It's a lot cheaper than any slug killer on the shelves and for the enviroment it's a good thing.
I like to use Corry's Slug and Snail Killer. It works fast and really well. The nice thing about it is it's cheap and you don't have to sprinkle it directly on your plants. You can sprinkle a little circle around the base of the plant (maybe about a 3 to 5 inch diameter from the plant). The next day you'll find all kinds of dead things in the circle. It almost looks like witchcraft hehe.
