Just a thought here but is anyone planning on taking any games or consoles to the exchange over the holidays? If so, it might be worth considering taking them before Christmas Day, or the day on which gifts are traditionally exchanged on your country. After Christmas, there is usually an influx of older consoles arriving as people have been given upgrades as gifts. This glut means that their cash or trade-in value is likely to decrease. So it may well be worth striking whilst the iron is hot, so to speak, to make sure you get the best deal.
Great point and thanks for sharing! I think that's the wisest way to go about it and not to mention that stores are probably also more likely to pay a bit more for older games or consoles when they know people are going to be shopping for them a lot more, whereas after the holidays they are not going to be selling a lot so they probably won't be too enthused about buying as much as they could. We don't have these exchange stores here unfortunately aside from a few niche places.
