I saw your thread and immediately thought of a video I saw today talking about the US getting free wireless internet nationwide. It was discussing how home internet and cell phone carriers are slowing down speeds for certain customers who use x amount of spectrum. Any who by making basic WiFi free it would make providers more competitive in the market and force them to give better quality and faster speeds. Has anyone else heard anything about this? I caught the gist, but missed a lot of the details.
