It depends on what I am eating. For an English fry up I would go for a big and juicy Cumberland sausage. For a hotdog I would go for the frankfurter. It needs to be high quality, I don't like eating cheap sausages or frankfurters.
I don't eat either very often, but I do like a sausage and pepper sandwich every now and then. My husband makes a pretty good one, but I agree it had to be high quality. Otherwise it just isn't any good.
I eat both, and I'm not really particular as to what kind I should eat. Both taste good, but I eat sausages more often than frankfurters.
I eat both, but frankfurters are more common in my house. That said I love sausages, particularly vension sausages with a side of golden hashbrowns and boysenberry syrup.
I don't eat either regularly, but I generally prefer sausage. They're less processed and more versatile to cook with, such as when you want to break them open and crumble the meat into whatever you're cooking. Also, I'm half Italian, so there was more likely to be sausage in our fridge.
Definitely sausages, and a good quality sausage. I like German bratwursts, which are around 90% meat. I also like English Cumberland sausages. One of our favourite quick meals is sausage, mash and beans, and as long as it's a decent sausage, it's quite a healthy meal. The only time I really serve frankfurters is cut up on sticks on a buffet table.
