I'm going to be doing more camping in the immediate future I think. As such I need a more varied diet then what I'm currently carrying along on my camping. So anyone got any ideas or recommendations? Also are there any particular shows that would be better for doing this kind of shopping? Thanks!
What sort of camping are you doing? Like back-packing miles away from civilization? At a campground? RV camping? All kind of change what you should and shouldn't bring on your camping trip. If your camping allows you to bring ice chests and have a place to restock on ice, then you can pretty much bring any sort of food as long as you can keep it frozen.
I'm going to have to go with jerky and nuts. They LAST. They're great sources of protein. If you're looking for long lasting carbs, why not a Twinkies? You never go wrong with Twinkies.
