Fitness enthusiasts, can you recommend some good apps that can help with workouts, running and keeping track of one's weight and calorie intake? How effective are these apps?
I like Map My Walk because sometimes I take new routes and I like to chart my progress. It's great when exploring new territories too. You get to read other walk reviews and rater areas.
There are plenty of them out there and even though I can throw out some names, I would suggest that you give them all a chance as some might strike your fancy more than others. Lose It!, MyNetDiary, Livestrong, My Fitness Pal, Libra, Nike+, CardioTrainer, JogTracker, etc. Have fun with them and see the strengths of each of them. I have more than one on my phone as I like certain things for each one.
