I have always chosen Pennzoil or Quaker State motor oil but lately I am using the auto parts store brand. I have never used a synthetic oil like Mobil One but some swear by it. Do you have a preference on motor oil and why?
I buy the cheapest high mileage stuff I can find - which is normally the Dollar General brand. However, though, the higher priced brands are more expensive for a reason. Therefore, I'm sure they have major advantages. Nonetheless, though, it seems like the cheaper brands do enough for me, and they save me a lot of money. However, I could have been misled. Anyway, I'm not sure if what I buy is a favorite or simply the cheapest option.
