I enjoy using the Duolingo app which helps users to learn a different language in a fun way with a game style learning system. I use the app to learn french and it is proving a fun and effective to learn the language. I have looked for other similar apps but never found anything quite as good as this free app.

Have you experienced the Duolingo app or do you know of any similar apps whether paid or free?

I absolutely love this app, this is an app which has helped me a lot in learning spanish. The site says that it has been scientifically proven that it is better then a college level education and this fact is clearly visible as they use a lot of audio-visual aids in order to teach the language. You can learn a number of languages from this service and that too, completely free of cost.

I use Duolingo and I really like it too! I think it's a fun and not too complicated way to learn a new language, I'm currently learning German. I think it's great that Duolingo is available on the web too as well as the app. I found Duolingo at the top of a list of the best apps of 2013 so I think it's safe to say a lot of people like it!

I installed this app a few days ago as I recently set out to learn Spanish. So far its been a great interactive learning experience and I've already been able to grasp the basics and count to 10. Currently I'm dedicating an hour every day to it.

I have only good things to say about Duolingo. First of all, it's all free! Next they have an awesome interactive system for learning that uses visual, auditive and typing tasks to help the user learn the language of choice. I'm using it to learn German and I'm constantly amazed but how good it is. I love all the little things like leveling up, the lingots (fantasy currency) or the ability to share on Facebook all the achievements you get when learning. Right now they're only offering a few languages but if you look around you'll notice they're in the process of adding many more. Recommended!
