Oh, I know. I don't want to tick off people who are handling my food and risk having them spit in it, so if I notice that a sandwich isn't cut, I take it home and cut it. It's not worth it to start an argument over a minor issue, even though it sucks that businesses don't train their employees to be polite and helpful anymore.
I actually gave up on Dunkin Donuts because of the issues mentioned in this thread and even more. Their staff is usually teenagers that do not give a you know what about your food or your dining experience. They didn't have decaf coffee most of the time that I requested it. Several times I went through the drive through and they claimed that they did not have croissants for breakfast sandwiches. I could go on and on. I'm done with their business.
We have a Dunkin Donuts here, and I like their muffins, but I used to like their cocoa, the hubs and I would go once a month and order a muffin and hot cocoa. Now their hot cocoa is watery, and when I tell them that, they act like they have no idea what I'm talking about, even though I ordered it last winter.
You would think that even if they disagreed with you ,they would fix your cocoa just because you're the customer and the customer is always right. It's so rude of them to act like you're making up an imaginary problem with your drink.
I haven't gone to Dunkin Donuts much since they got rid of my donut. The coffee roll is ok but it's extra and I always went there for the donut. I guess I'm not surprised. The grocery stores discontinue the stuff I love too. Luckily sometimes they have it at Weis.
