The fact is that with Prayer, God Lets You Call the “What you're getting” or the “When you're getting it,” but (Usually) Not Both. God knows what you need now. And if you seek his will, you'll find what you need. But if you decide that YOU know what you need, then 1) you'll MISS what you really need & 2) you'll be waiting a LONG TIME to get what you think you need. So God gives you either 'what you need now' or 'what you WANT LATER' when you pray for it. Sound like not as good a deal as Jesus is said to have promised?
