It's important for me as a runner to maintain a light weight, but because I like eating and I eat even though I am not hungry, I really need to take a watch of the calories of the foods that I am eating. But sometimes I screw up, so I have to work a little harder to burn those excess calories I just took into my body. Good thing is that it becomes my habit to be keen on the caloric content of the foods, so I am pretty used on doing it. I know other people who just get depressed looking at the nutrition facts and particularly paying attention to the calories.
