Sams Club is now selling Chia seeds. It seems like a popular thing right now to use for smoothies. They are loaded with fiber, calcium, Omega-3s, and protein. Some people are calling it a superfood because it absorbs a lot of water and can keep you hydrated for a long time. Do you use Chia seeds? If so, where can we find them the cheapest?
I use Chia seeds in salads, smoothies and I add them to scrambled eggs. I have read you can also add them to sauces but I haven't been that adventurous. I buy mine at Whole Foods in the area where you buy the grains, herbs, etc. by weight. It isn't necessarily the cheapest but I can buy as much or as little as I want so that's a real money saver for me.
