I do take advantage of free samples depending on where they are. I’ll take the free samples of food given at food stores, or small make up products at counters. However, I’m often hesitant to take advantage of free samples if they are online. A lot of companies will offer free samples for the first few times buy make you enter a form of payment because they will charge your card later on unless you opt out.
One of the large super grocery stores has an array of samples on Fridays when most people are out shopping for the weekend. I have gone into the store and sampled enough to be very full from just picking up samples as I walked around doing my shopping.
I used to see free samples everywhere in the UK, and yes I took full advantage of them. But in Botswana, we don't get anywhere near as many as we did in the UK I hope that we'll get there sometime in my lifetime LOL
