I have seen lots of people on YouTube cutting costs of weaves and wigs by making their own. I believe a handmade custom wig can easily cost $300 dollars or more. The cost of a wig, even if it is machine made can cost a lot if it is made with human hair vs synthetic. I watched a guy who makes wigs on YouTube and he shows how he makes his own wefts/tracks by hand using a sewing machine. And since I just so happen to have a sewing machine, I might give this a try one day.
