I have always made an effort to cook something nice for myself and my partner in the evenings. No matter how tired I am, I still manage to make a quick soup, steam some vegetables with fish or prepare an easy grain dish with salad. It doesn't take me longer than about 30-40 minutes, I find I get my energy back after a long working day by relaxing while I cook and listen to music. Where do you eat your dinner?

Actually no. I rarely cook for myself anymore because of my busy schedule. I have to work well into the night everyday so I don't really have the time to cook anything. I eat out every night because it's cheaper and less time consuming for me.

No. I do not find time to make a meal for myself every night. most of the time i will stop by Mcdonalds, or some other fast food restaurant on my way home from work. Most nights. I am exhausted, and i simply do not have the energy to cook a meal for myself. Thank God for Fast food restaurants, and Tv dinners.

I cook dinner for my family of 5 six out of seven nights a week. We might eat out or order pizza once a week, or just do leftovers. But otherwise, yes, absolutely.

Family dinner is the most important thing I think I do right now for my family. Not only is it the healthiest option, but it is the most cost effective, as far as just the choice of food goes. But more than that, we have created a culture in our family that says getting together around a table, every single day, without any electronic distractions, is important.

It has been statistically proven that families who have a "family dinner" (at least once a week) have far lower instances of drug/alcohol/cigarette use in teens, higher grades, higher levels of college attendance, lower teen pregnancy rates, and lower obesity rates. This alone is worth it to me.

Cooking and eating dinner together just has too many benefits to claim "I don't have time," for me right now.

I have the time, I just don't always have the motivation. I live on my own and I don't really care what I eat so I often go with something fast and cheap. Actually I prefer making lunch than dinner... and often only cook during the day and then eat leftovers or something similar for dinner.

Unfortunately no, but luckily my wife gets home about an hour before me and she either makes dinner or sets everything up so it's quick when I arrive.
If this wasn't the case, I'm sure I'd be eating pizzas and pre-cooked food a lot more often.

I try my best, but I probably cook 3 days a week because I'm busy and when I get home, I just want to grab a bite and go off to sleep.
