A couple of years ago I found out that dish water can work as great laundry detergent. I have only used to once after finding out about it and it seems to get the job done. It's quite a cheap alternative to using detergent, though you can't use too much of it. Have any of you tried to use dish soap to clean your close? Do you think it's an effective way to save just a little money?
