Do you use conditioner? I am fairly sure the answer from most people will be yes. However, I still wondered if there are people who do not use it. Personally, I do not use it. I have never really worked out what it is actually meant to do or how it is meant to help me. Since I do not care about my appearance too much (I never even brush my hair), I cannot see why I need it. It also saves money of course. In addition, I suppose by using less resources, I am helping save the environment. I just use shampoo and that is all. How about you? Do you use it? How does it help you? Do you prefer any particular brands? What makes you choose a particular conditioner over the others?
I also use conditioner every time that I wash my hair. I know that using conditioner is just such an extra option when it comes to washing your hair but I really enjoy the luxury of using it. I love how soft and manageable it makes my hair and its just as part of my routine as a regular shampoo is.
I use conditioner every time I wash my hair because it makes me hair soft gets the tangles out makes it feel really nice and soft also it makes my hair look good and healthy
I used conditioner until recently. I ran out and didn't realize it until the shampoo was in my hair lol. I hate how tangly and odd my hair feels without conditioner straight out of the shower, so I let it air dry without messing with it.. I was afraid of breakage etc. By the time it was dry, it was just as manageable as when I use conditioner and it was shinier and fuller. Think I'll save my money from now on and deep condition natural ways once in a while.
Only tried it once, but didn't noticed the difference that much, so i just end up using a normal shampoo. Most of the times my hair is a mess anyways, it's almost like a trademark for the people that know me.
My hair is a frizzy mess if I don't use some sort of conditioner! Conditioner makes your hair smoother and easier to style and detangle. It helps with the overall health of your hair especially if it is long and/or coloured. I use a natural conditioner that has fewer chemicals although once and awhile I do a deep condition which is much less natural.
I have to use conditioner since I color my hair. Hair color can be very drying and even though I only color mine once every 3 months I still find that it dries noticeably. It tangles more and gets damaged when I brush my hair. I like using Dove conditioners since for some reason it does a great job without triggering my dandruff. Pantene also does well but after using it for a week I usually develop dandruff.
I always use conditioner, but my husband never does. His hair is always soft. Mine gets dry and frizzy and completely unmanageable if I don't use conditioner. I save money anyway, though, because I usually only cowash, and I only shampoo once every couple of weeks.
I use a conditioner, but that happens quite rarely, only if the shampoo sachet that I'm using has conditioner bundled in it. I'm also quite content to just use only shampoo to my hair, since I'm not really that fussy when it comes to hair maintenance. But I have to admit that using a conditioner does make my hair more smooth and manageable.
I use conditioner every week, I do a mix of my homemade hair butter (olive and coconut oils, shea and cocoa butters) then add that to Suave Almond & Shea Butter conditioner I notice if I sit under a heated dryer for 30 minutes, my hair comes out really shiny and soft. I have very dry, coarse, hair, so conditioning weekly is a must.
I do a similar thing except I use just the coconut oil and mix it with whatever conditioner I have on hand. Sometimes I add honey as well, but not usually. And you're right; conditioning is a must for people with a certain kind of hair, but there are ways to make it not be super expensive.
I have to use conditioner on my hair every time I wash it. If I do not wash it with conditioner it will not feel as soft and not manageable. I have longer hair and I think it helps to keep my hair looking smooth and if I don't use it, it's noticeable that it is more dried out and frizzy. I guess my hair isn't used to it not being conditioned!
I have to use conditioner whenever I wash my hair because if I don't I won't be able to even brush my hair, it gets so tangled and unmanagable, so for me it is a must and not an option. Some people are lucky enough to not have to use conditioner because there hair doesn't get tangled, but my hair is like straw without it.
I use conditioner every day and when I get out of the shower and dry my hair I put a small dab in my hair and comb it through to leave it in. I do care about my appearance and my hair is something I love to play with - it has to be soft. My hair is usually really, really dry so I use quite a bit - when my hair was really short I didn't need it so much but with it longer I have to use it or I'd be shaving my head after the dread locks took over.
I use conditioner mainly to detangle my hair. I only use a small amount so it doesn't weigh down my hair. I also hardly brush my hair because my natural wave comes out better when I don't and it actually looks better than it does when it is brushed. I come through it with my fingers. I prevent a lot of breakage this way!
I always condition my hair after every wash. It keeps my hair soft and silky. I color my hair and my hair does tend to become rough. I also hate tangles and breakage. With long hair conditioning is not an option. I tried ACV but it seems to may my hair rough again. I have found a way to use less of the product. I add water and almond oil to make the conditioner better and longer lasting.
I actually know someone who does not use conditioner. She claims her hair is too fine and that conditioner is actually bad for her hair. I use a deep conditioner as needed (maybe once per month at the most) and I use leave-in conditioner and moisture lotions depending on how I plan to style my hair after I wash it. Conditioners are primarily used to treat the scalp and/or seal in moisture, so you just have to give your hair what it needs when it needs it.
