When having a cookout, are you particular about the brands of hamburger buns and hot dog buns that you choose? I've had pricier brands, but I don't see much difference. I usually grab the store brand or whatever is on sale. If I've planned far enough ahead, I'll get them at Aldi.

Unless they are bakery quality buns, I just can't see paying more for is essentially the same thing. Do you have a preferred brand when it comes to buns?

I must admit that I am particular about hamburger buns. There's this one type which my local supermarket sell which are the ideal size and consistency. They hold together well and don't end up all soggy. The good news is that they are relatively inexpensive and are often available on BOGOF.

When it comes to buns for hot dogs or hamburgers, I just go with the store brand because, like you, I can't really tell the difference. I do try to buy whole grain, though. Recently, I have changed to using tortillas for hot dogs. I really like the density that a tortilla provides.
