For a cheap ingredient, you can have zucchini made into soup. The ingredients are zucchini, maybe 2 pieces, 1 tablespoon of fish sauce, half clove of garlic, 1 onion. Peel and slice the zucchini in cubes, crush the garlic and slice the onions. In a pot, pour a little oil to fry the garlic until it turns brown. Add the onions and fish sauce. This is the sautee that will serve as flavoring for the zucchini. When the onions look wilted, add 2 glasses of water. Upon boiling, add the sliced zucchini and let it boil for a minute or until the zuchinni looks wilted. Serve piping hot in a bowl. Best to be eaten with buttered toast.
